Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza is an actress and comedian born June 26th 1984. She is April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. Her web series debut was the Jeannie Tate Show following the time she appeared in improv, sketch and slapstick comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Then, later in her career she starred in Judd Apatow Funny People as well as Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Celebrate her birthday! Aubrey Christina Plaza born Wilmington Delaware, the daughter of lawyer Bernadette Plaza and Financial specialist David Plaza. The father of her is Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza was a student at an Catholic girls in 2002 through 2006, then in 2006, she enrolled at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. As a senior in high school, Plaza was involved in Wilmington Drama League shows and held the position of president for the student body. Plaza was paralyzed for a period of time in 2004, following an accident. She's now completely recovered. Plaza began performing improv, sketch comedy and a myriad of other forms at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. In addition, The Laugh Factory, The Improv and the Laugh Factory in N.Y.C. are all places where she performed stand up comedy. Plaza was featured in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street and The Jeannie Tate Show as Robin Gibney as well as the debut episode of Terrible Decisions with Ben Schwartz. Troopers was a satirical scifi show on CollegeHumor where she played Princess. Plaza first made her debut on saxophone in Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She first appeared in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. In HarmonQuest in 2016, Plaza played Hawaiian Coffee as a Gnome. The same year she portrayed Aaron Burr In Drunk History and Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds. Plaza made an impressive return to the role in the 12th season of Criminal Minds. The following year, the actress was confirmed as appearing on An Evening of Beverly Luff Linn, an indie comedic.
